Anne founded the Six-Minute Memoir storytelling event in 2013 as a way to bring people together to share stories - all for a good cause. It’s held annually at the First Unitarian Church in Hamilton and bi-monthly at The Staircase Theatre in Hamilton.

Each event features 12 local storytellers who share tales on a theme, such as “Lost and Found,” “Leaps of Faith” and “The Way We Bleed.”

Each event raises money for charity. To date, more than $30,000 has been raised for First Unitarian Church of Hamilton and charities such as The Eva Rothwell Centre, The Welcome Inn Community Centre, the Sexual Assault Centre of Hamilton, Sacajawea Non-Profit Housing and the Refugee Sponsorship Committee of the Anglican Diocese of Niagara.
